The Molotov Line is a Soviet system of bunkers and fortifcations from the years 1940-1941, stretching from the Carpathians as far as the Baltic Sea. Within the administrative limits of Przemyśl, there are 22 Molotov Line objects in different degrees of preservation. So far, two Soviet bunkers have been made use of. At Wybrzeże J. Piłsudskiego (next to Gromada hotel), an interesting, private collection of items from World War II presented by the Przemyśl Association for Care and Revitalization of the Molotov Line „Project 8813” can be seen inside a concrete bunker identifed as „Caponier 8813”, whilst the society „Kaponiera – Przemyśl Fortifed Area” renovated the bunker „Sanowa half-caponier” at ul. Sanowa.
